Bunzl mulls more acquisitions as revenue rises
Outsourcing firm Bunzl today posted a five per cent increase in group revenue for its third quarter, as it eyed more acquisitions.
In the year to date, group revenue increased by six per cent.
In an interim management statement, the FTSE 100 firm credited underlying revenue growth in North America, Continental Europe, the UK and Ireland for the boost.
The company also said it planned to acquire Indigo Concept Packaging, a retail packaging supplier, adding that the acquisition pipeline was “promising”. So far this year, seven transactions have been announced, with annualised revenue of £163m.
