British Airways flight BA356 to Nice declares emergency due to landing gear fault

British Airways flight #BA356 to Nice has returned to Heathrow after declaring an emergency.
 
The Airbus A320 jet left the London airport at 18:00 and was due to land in the France city two hours later.
 
But after experiencing a technical fault, it started making circuits over Surrey and joined the queue to land at Heathrow runway 27R.
 
According to reports, the plane suffered a landing gear fault and lost all its flight guidances.

The plane has safely returned to Heathrow, and is due to take off again at 20:30.
