BestBuy launches UK website
US electricals retailer Best Buy today launches a website for customers in the UK. The launch follows its opening of five stores across the UK, including a Croydon branch last month. BestBuy is new to the UK market but seeking to take on the likes of Dixons in the battle for sales of electrical goods and gadgets including mobile phones. The company is promising to offer a high level of service in its new online operation. deVere Forster, managing director for online at Best Buy UK said: “The launch of our e-commerce store on BestBuy.co.uk marks a key milestone for the business and helps to make buying technology simple, inspiring and tailored to each of our customers. We are very excited.”
