BBC offices evacuated at Broadcasting House and Regent Street cordoned off around Portland Place after brief security alert due to suspicious vehicle
The are around the BBC's London offices at Portland Place have been cleared after being cordoned off following reports of a suspicious vehicle.
Some staff from New Broadcasting House, a short walk from busy Oxford Circus, were evacuates from the area by Police and the area outside cordoned off.
Other BBC staff remained in the building, located on Regent Street after the incident was first reported at around 3pm.
The area was cleared by police shortly afterwards and nothing was found.

It's the second security incident in the capital today after an area around London Bridge was evacuated due to a suspect package.
