Cheapside reopens after being evacuated and closed off by police after suspicious vehicle reported
City of London police have confirmed that a security alert in the Square Mile has now been dealt with and all roads have been reopened.

An area of Cheapside in the City of London was evacuated and cordoned off by police earlier this morning, after a suspicious vehicle was found at Bread Street.
“The City of London Police is currently in attendance in Bread Street, EC4 following a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the street," the police service said in a statement.
“The incident was reported to us shortly before 10.30am on Wednesday (26 October) and officers are on scene awaiting the arrival of specialist units.
“Road closures are currently in place in the area and people are advised to find different routes.”
