Arsenal ready to close gap on faltering Spurs
ARSENAL can move to within a point of north London rivals Tottenham and advance their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League with victory against Newcastle at Emirates Stadium tonight.
Spurs slipped to their third Premier League defeat in a row at Everton on Saturday and are on the brink of losing the 13-point lead they held over Arsene Wenger’s side in late January.
Wenger could include left-back Andre Santos after a three-month absence, while midfielders Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey return after missing last week’s win over AC Milan.
