Arsenal beer price: Fans spend more on pint of beer than Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea followers
Arsenal fans must pay more for a pint of beer than any of their Premier League rivals, with pints at the Emirates Stadium priced at £4.30.
Supporters at Anfield, meanwhile, can enjoy a drink for £1 less when toasting the Reds' latest exploits.
Manchester United and Manchester City also pay under £4 for a pint, with prices at £3.40 at the Etihad Stadium and £3.90 at Old Trafford.
Research conducted by ticket marketplace Seatwave revealed that fans in the south of England will pay on average 20 per cent more than those in the north this season. Chelsea fans pay £4.20 for a pint at Stamford Bridge, while Spurs fans will pay £4 – at least until they eventually move away from White Hart Lane.
Arsenal serve Fosters to their fans at the Emirates Stadium, while Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge have Singha available.
It’s former Liverpool shirt sponsor Carlsberg that provides the refreshments for the Kop. Spurs fans pay 70p more for the same brand. Manchester City fans, much like manager Manuel Pellegrini, have a wider array of options to choose from on match days – Heineken, Fosters and Amstel.
Yet even Arsenal fans with a penchant for a tipple don’t part with as much cash as England cricket fans, who pay £4.90 for the a pint of beer at Lord’s – the most expensive beer you’ll find at any sporting ground in the country.
On average, Seatwave found cricket stadiums had the steepest pint prices at £3.94, while rugby stadiums weren’t far behind at £3.92. Football fared best with an average price of £3.82.
