ANYONE wondering if ex-Oriel chief David Knox’s new company name Lazarus refers to his own triumphant return to the City can think again, the former Cazenove bigwig (who lasted only six months at the helm of Oriel) told The Capitalist it’s more about the return of old fashioned values, such as putting clients first. Knox is joined by many ex-Oriel-ers but insists he didn’t set out to poach its staff. “It happened very naturally, these are people I have worked with in the past predating Oriel – in fact they were there in large part because I was there.
