Millstream Management Services

Simon Crewe has been appointed managing director of the retirement development manager. He has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, and has also served as managing director of Goldsborough Estates, part of Bupa UK.


Craig Brokenshire has been appointed global chief operating officer at the reinsurance broking and consultancy firm. He joined JLT Re in Australia as a director in 2011, and most recently served as chief operating officer of its Asia Pacific region. Brokenshire has also held senior roles at Aon Broking and Aon Benfield, both in Singapore.


The private equity firm has appointed Tom Maddison as head of portfolio talent. He joins in August 2015 from Xerox Corporation, where he served most recently as global HR director and a member of its executive committee. Maddison’s role at HgCapital is a new position to support management teams at its portfolio companies.

International General Insurance Holdings

The insurance firm has appointed Simon Curtis as chief financial officer of its UK business in London. He was most recently interim head of finance at AmTrust at Lloyd’s. Curtis has over 20 years’ experience in accountancy and insurance, and has also held roles at EY, Atrium Underwriting, and Insurance Management Services.

Lazard Asset Management

The financial advisory and asset management firm has appointed Léopold Arminjon as portfolio manager/analyst. Based in London, he will be responsible for running a new European long/short equity strategy to be launched later this year. Arminjon was previously a lead portfolio manager at Henderson Global Investors. He has also held roles at Gartmore.

Capital Cranfield Trustees

The trustee firm has appointed Nicki Mortimer as a client director. She joins from Astrazeneca, where she was responsible for the firm’s global pension and benefits provision. Mortimer has also worked as UK pensions manager at Balfour Beatty and pensions admin consultant at Mercer.
