Yahoo will live stream Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting
Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway will for the first time ever live stream its annual shareholder meeting.
The meeting, due to take place 30 April with around 40,000 shareholders in Omaha, will be broadcast as a live stream online on Yahoo.
“Over the past 50 years, we’ve seen a tremendous increase in the interest around our shareholders meeting. Partnering with Yahoo Finance provides us with the opportunity to reach more people than ever, in key financial centers around the world, from New York to China and beyond,” said Buffett.
Yahoo Finance's editor in chief Andy Serwer said: “The Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting has been called the ‘Woodstock of Capitalism,’ and we’re thrilled to offer access to a worldwide audience for the first time ever.”
An on-demand catch up will also be available for 30 days afterwards.
