Volution revenue gets blast of fresh air on back of purchases and rising demand
VENTILATION products supplier Volution yesterday announced boosted annual revenue, helped by the purchase of Brueggemann Energiekonzepte.
Volution said revenue for the year to 31 July was £130m, up by 7.9 per cent year-on-year and up 12 per cent on a constant currency basis.
This was driven by one per cent organic growth in the year, with the rest coming from acquisitions, including Germany-based heat recovery ventilation supplier Brueggemann, completed in April.
Volution said growth last year was helped by a rise in UK new-build residential sales and said demand for its products remains robust.
Chief executive Ronnie George said: “In our first full financial year since listing on the London Stock Exchange in June 2014, we have delivered both organic- and acquisition-led growth.
“We are also delighted to have completed the acquisition of the Ventilair group on 5 August 2015 and the process of integration and optimisation is progressing well.”
He added: “In spite of the significant impact of largely translational currency headwinds, mitigated by revenue growth and further margin expansion, the group expects its full-year results to be in line with the board’s expectations.”
