Voice recognition firm Eckoh agrees American Express deal
ECKOH, the Aim-listed speech recognition business, will today unveil a deal with a major global financial services company, believed to be American Express.
City A.M. understands the multi-million pound deal will see American Express employ a dedicated platform from Eckoh to handle its customers’ self-service enquiries across the globe.
The two companies have worked together since 2008, but the minimum £1.1m per annum renewed arrangement will see American Express’ reach with Eckoh extend beyond Europe.
Eckoh is today set to report on its full-year results, which are expected to show strong demand at the British business following the rapid rise to prominence of voice-enabled services such as Apple’s Siri and Samsung’s S Voice.
Eckoh – which counts the London Stock Exchange, Transport for London and William Hill among its clients – is also set to reveal a number of contract wins or renewals from the current trading year so far.
