Trusted boot of Taylor nicks it for Gloucester
TIM TAYLOR kicked over a last-gasp conversion to help Gloucester complete a miraculous 31-29 comeback victory over Harlequins and book a home semi-final with Cardiff Blues.
Gloucester needed a bonus point to edge out Scarlets for a last-four place but soon found themselves 20-0 down before staging a fightback with James Simpson-Daniel bagging two of five tries.
Full-back Tom Voyce scored the crucial fifth try in the final minute, leaving Taylor with just enough time to kick over the winning points.
They are joined in the last four by Saracens, despite Brendan Venter’s side going down 23-22 at home to the Dragons.
Sarries went into the game knowing they needed a single point to book an away semi-final with Northampton, but came up against a strong Dragons side. Chris Wyles touched down for Sarries.
Elsewhere, Wasps beat Newcastle 9-3 in a scrappy game at Kingston Park.
