TRAVEL NOTES
Valencia restaurant week: 5-11 July
Like tapas but want to explore the best of Spanish food further? Combine a week of serious food discovery with a sunny Spanish holiday in Valencia, one of southern Spain’s most beautiful cities, which will be hosting its third restaurant week from 5 July. On offer will be delicious local and international dishes – some from Michelin-starred restaurants – and available from €20 for lunch and €30 for dinner. Ryanair and EasyJet both fly direct to Valencia from London.
BA’s new private jet service
British Airways has launched a new private jet service in conjunction with CitationAir, for customers within North America and the Caribbean. The PrivateConnect service will offer pay-by-the-trip access to a network of private aircraft. An online registration and dedicated phone number allows BA flyers to just pay and go with a credit card, avoiding the long-term commitment and up-front fees normally associated with private jet hire. For more info, go to www.flyprivateconnect.com.
