Travel disruption on London Overground between Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush after digger incident
A section of the London Overground was shut off this morning, after a digger pulled down overhead wiring on the line over the weekend.
There was no service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd's Bush this morning, with Transport for London instead operating a rail replacement bus service between the two stations, in both directions.
The bus runs every 30 minutes.

The digger tore down the wires as it went over a level crossing near Mitre Bridge, White City.

That wasn't the only source of headaches for commuters this morning, however. There were severe delays between Gospel Oak and Barking owing to a faulty train at South Tottenham.
