Super Bowl ads bring in big money
Advertisers including Volkswagen and SodaStream reportedly paid an average of $4m (£2.4m) for a prized 30-second slot during last night’s US Super Bowl XLVIII event broadcast on Fox. More than 100m viewers are estimated to have tuned in to watch the American football match between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with the adverts attracting almost as much attention as the game itself.
