Suit alors! lawyer cycles Boris bike to Paris
Save the Boris bike spotted in Gambia, few have been further than the one cycled by Richard Jordan, lawyer at K&L Gates, from London to Paris at the weekend. Raising money for the RNLI by cycling the 250 miles between the two cities for the second time, Jordan decided to up the ante by doing it on a clunky Boris bike this time. Luckily he didn’t have to pay the rental costs as TfL lent him a brand new one for free. “I’ve become quite attached to it, I’ll be sad to give it back,” he told The Capitalist. “But the brakes are shot so it’ll need some attention.” Also cycling with Jordan were Simon Bragg, CEO at Oriel Securities, Will Holland, CFO at Fastnet Oil & Gas and Paul Tetlow, Partner at K&L Gates. They’ve raised just over £8,000 so far.
