Striking Post Office workers have set up a Santa’s grotto complete with live reindeer as part of a protest
If you've got a soft spot for Santa's favourite animal, you might want to head on over to the department for business.
For striking Post Office workers, members of the Communications Workers Union (CWU) have set up a Santa's grotto, complete with live reindeer, outside the government's business department headquarters.

They set up a "Peoples Post" campaign to deliver postcards to the department, to raise concern over the future of the Post Office.
A strike at Crown post offices has closed around 50 branches, as workers protest over pension changes and job security. The Christmas walkouts which span today and tomorrow, will also include Christmas Eve.
CWU assistant secretary Andy Furey said the company ahd launched "an unprecedented attack on the jobs, job security and pensions of thousands of hard-working and loyal Post Office workers".

The Post Office has said 99 per cent of its branches remain open despite the action.
Kevin Gilliland, Post Office, group network and sales director, said: “We want to reassure customers that nearly all of our network is unaffected by the strike action. It is business as usual, with more than 50,000 Post Office people on hand on hand to support customers as they make their preparations for Christmas.”
