FOOTBALL: Tottenham yesterday confirmed the capture of Roberto Soldado from Valencia for £26m. Meanwhile striker Loic Remy completed his switch from QPR to Newcastle on a season-long loan and their midfielder Adel Taarabt is close to joining Fulham.
