Reds game was probed
HUNGARIAN football club Debrecen have confirmed their 2009 Champions League defeat to Liverpool was investigated for suspected match-fixing.
Goalkeeper Vukasin Poleksic was banned by governing body Uefa for two years in 2010 for not reporting being approached to rig games against Fiorentina and Liverpool. There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by the Anfield side, who say they were unaware the fixture had been probed.
