    Resolution Ltd, the new company formed after the £1.86bn takeover of Friends Provident by Clive Cowdrey’s Resolution, will list on the London Stock exchange today. The High Court yesterday gave the green light for a reduction in capital as part of a £312m cash and shares payment being made by Resolution to complete the deal.
