Horse Racing Betting Tips: Pondus looks ready to do battle in Rose Of Lancaster August 8, 2019 UNFORTUNATELY, if the weather forecast is to be believed, Haydock is set for another soaking and the ground will be soft for tomorrow’s Rose Of Lancaster Stakes (3.05pm). That will be music to the ears of the connections of Addeybb who fluffed his lines a little when only runner-up in the York Stakes last time [...]

Like with many of Goodwood’s tricky handicaps, the market is headed by a Mark Johnston runner. He saddles King’s Advice who bids to give his trainer a third [...]
Horse Racing Betting Tips: Fallon set for Raucous ride in his first Stewards’ Cup August 1, 2019 BACK in 1861 as many as 45 horses lined up for the Stewards’ Cup (3.40pm), though not all of them passed the starting tape due to a severe lack of competent jockeys. The number of starters for tomorrow’s £250,000 six-furlong cavalry charge now stands at 28 and you can be sure that every member of [...]
Horse Racing Betting Tips: Maqsad can serve it up to Hermosa in Nassau Stakes July 31, 2019 THERE isn’t a race I have been looking forward to more all week than this afternoon’s Qatar Nassau Stakes (3.35pm). When the entries first came out my eyes were immediately drawn to dual 1000 Guineas winner HERMOSA who finally steps up to the trip she has seemingly been crying out for. The daughter of Galileo [...]
Horse Racing Betting Tips: Glitters can go well but may find one Too Darn Hot July 30, 2019 BACK in 2015, Qatar ploughed huge sums of money into the Qatar Goodwood Festival (aka Glorious Goodwood) and the main beneficiary was the Qatar Sussex Stakes (3.35pm), which is now worth a cool £1million. The evergreen eight-year-old suffered traffic problems before rattling home to finish third only [...]
