Premier exploration boss to depart
FTSE 250-listed Premier Oil is set to lose another senior executive, City A.M. understands. Head of exploration Andrew Lodge has informed the board that he intends to leave, mere months after the shock resignation of chief executive Simon Lockett in February. It is thought that Lodge will not depart until the oil and gas explorer, which last month rejected a £3bn merger offer from rival Ophir Energy, finds a new chief executive.
