Pre-owned pioneers set to go brand-new
Watchfinder has made a name for itself over the past 12 years as a pioneer of the pre-owned market and increasingly the UK after-sales service landscape, meaning everyone was pleasantly surprised to learn that parent company WF&Co. will be adding new watches to its portfolio very soon. While they won’t be selling brand-new Patek Philippes just yet, the idea is to take on a roster of brands that are complementary to the pre-owned brands.
First up is wannabe iconoclast SevenFriday – a Zürich-based brand creating complicated-looking three-hand watches with a power indicator. Thanks to its Japanese Miyota movement, made by Citizen, SevenFriday offers a tantalising means of buying into a highly technical-looking automatic for a very reasonable £900, while you continue to save for that Richard Mille or Urwerk.
SevenFriday is sold through Watchfinder’s WF&Co boutique in the Royal Exchange and online: watchfinder.co.uk
