The Panama papers are about to be made public
The massive leak of offshore tax information from Mossack Fonseca may soon cause more ripples.
A searchable database of the companies named in the leaked information will soon be made public by the organisation to which the information was disclosed.

"200,000 companies, trusts, foundations and funds incorporated in 21 tax havens, from Hong Kong to Nevada in the United States," said the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

The City regulator is pursuing its own enquiry into links between British firms and the Panama Papers. It has asked for, and now received, responses from 64 banks, but the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said it was still too soon to draw any conclusions.
The information will be made available on 9 May from the ICIJ on its offshore leaks database.
