OUT OF OFFICE
STOPPARD’S THE REAL THING
Playing now at the Old Vic, Tom Stoppard’s 1982 play mixes the playwright’s customary linguistic fireworks with emotional warmth, and is anchored by a masterful – and very funny – performance from Toby Stephens. He plays Henry, a successful playwright who leaves his wife for an actress (Hattie Morahan) and discovers he isn’t as wise on the subject of love as he thought. Until 5 June, Old Vic Theatre, The Cut, SE1. Tickets from £10 from www.oldvictheatre.com.
GRACE KELLY: STYLE ICON
Style icons don’t come much more iconic than the Fifities screen goddess who became a princess. The V&A’s exhibition includes dresses from many of Kelly’s films as well as items made for her by many of the legends of the fashion world like Givenchy and Dior. Until 26 Sept, V&A, Cromwell Road, SW7 2RL. www.vam.ac.uk.
