Meet Apple’s newest Macbook colour (and the battery lasts longer too)
Apple has a new Macbook, and it comes in a colour that it's been fond of for its phones for quite some time.
Rose Gold is the latest addition to the range with the newest updated Macbook, and there's also one new thing that is likely to keep users happy – a better battery life.
“MacBook is the thinnest and lightest Mac we have ever made and it’s our vision for the future of the notebook. Customers are going to love this update to MacBook, with the latest processors, faster graphics, faster flash storage, longer battery life and a beautiful rose gold finish,” said Phil Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing.
Other than the new colour, the updates are internal, giving new power to the computer Apple launched last year touting as its thinnest ever.
For the true geeks out there, that means a sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processors with up to 1.3 GHz, Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz, and faster 1866 MHz memory.
A new graphics card promises performance that's up to 25 per cent better, while the all important battery promises 10 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 11 hours of iTunes playback. The 13-inch version also gets 8GB memory as standard.
