Apple boss Tim Cook called it "the best iPhone we've ever created" and revealed that it has now sold one billion iPhones, marking a major milestone for the brand.
The two devices – the 4.7 inch iPhone 7 and 5.5 inch iPhone 7 Plus – are water and dust resistant.

However, the biggest announcement of the night was a new product – Airpod wireless earbud headphones.
They will have up to 24 hours of battery life with charging via a small case and will sink with Apple devices via iCloud. These will be sold separately with a £159 price tag.
