    ATHLETICS: Double Olympic champion Mo Farah’s hopes of running a marathon inside two hours have been doubted by Lord Sebastian Coe. Wilson Kipsang ran the Berlin marathon in a record two hours three minutes 23 seconds last month. Coe said: “This is a very ambitious aim.”

    ATHLETICS: Ethiopia’s two-time Olympic champion Haile Gebrselassie won yesterday’s Great Scottish Run in Glasgow in a course record time. The 40-year-old completed the 13.1-mile course in one hour one minute nine seconds. Scotland’s Susan Partridge won the women’s race.
