Leadenhall Street stabbing leaves man critically injured in hospital
Four men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing at the centre of the Square Mile which left a man critically injured in hospital.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning on Leadenhall Street near the Lloyds of London building.
A City of London police spokesman told the Evening Standard: “He is currently in a life threatening condition in hospital. Four men have been arrested in connection with the attack and are currently in custody.”
The road from Aldgate to the A10 remains closed to buses and other traffic on Sunday evening.
The area throngs with office workers on weekday nights, while weekends are more subdued.
