Jordan makes the difference
ENGLAND’S stand-in Twenty20 captain Eoin Morgan hailed Chris Jordan’s fine all-round display that sealed victory in the last of their three-match series with West Indies.
Jordan scored 26 in the final over of England’s innings then claimed bowling figures of 3-39 to help earn a five-run win.
Morgan said: “It was a fantastic game and an outstanding performance from Chris. We were a bit stop-start, but Chris at the end was brilliant.”
An opening partnership of 98 between Michael Lumb (63) and Alex Hales (38) helped England post an unassailable 165-6. And West Indies could only reach 160-7 despite Lendl Simmons scoring 69.
