Investors in Daisy probed
THE TAKEOVER Panel is said to be investigating whether two investors in telecoms group Daisy have been colluding over their combined shareholding in the Aim-listed firm.
The panel has written to Invesco Perpetual and Oakley Capital, which together own about 36 per cent of Daisy, to ask for their views about whether they should be held to be acting in concert, Sky News reported, citing banking sources.
Investors with more than a 30 per cent holding in a firm can be forced to make a takeover bid or sell down. Daisy was unavailable for comment.
