Hanagan on course for first title
HORSE RACING: Champion Jockey favourite Paul Hanagan remains eight wins ahead of challenger Richard Hughes after both riders notched doubles yesterday. Hanagan took his tally to 181 wins with victory aboard Grissom and then Palomar at Musselburgh. Hughes booked 14 rides in an attempt to close the gap but could only triumph on Charles Camoin in Nottingham and last night with Twice Bitten at Kempton. Both jockeys are seeking their first championship with just 10 days of racing remaining.
