Graham Donoghue is leaving Moneysupermarket after seven years as chief product officer
Moneysupermarket's chief product officer Graham Donoghue is leaving after seven years with the business.
The price comparison website, best known for their bootilicous adverts with Dave and Sharon Osborne, announced that Donoghue would remain until the end of the year to oversee the handover to his successor, who has already been appointed.
City A.M. understands that Donoghue's successor, who has not yet been named, will be promoted from within Moneysupermarket.
Donoghue will leave the board immediately. He joined just after the company floated in 2007.
He said: “I am very proud to have been part of Moneysupermarket during a time when the company has undergone significant growth. The time is right for me to move on and hand over to the team. I wish Peter and the whole team well and I am confident that the company will continue to perform strongly.”
Chief executive Peter Plumb, said: “I would like to thank Graham for his contribution to Moneysupermarket Group. He has played a significant role in the growth and success of the Group over the last seven years. In particular, we thank him for his commitment and dedication in helping to develop the new group technology platform. We wish him every success for the future.”
Earlier this year the company lost two of its senior non-executive directors, Michael Wemms and Robin Klein.
Moneysupermarket.com's shares were trading down 1.42 per cent at pixel time.
