Galliford Try bags new contracts in hotel space
CONSTRUCTION and housebuilding group Galliford Try has secured four lucrative new contracts in the hotel and residential sectors worth a combined £82.8m.
The contracts include a £30m deal to develop a 186-bedroom Radisson Hotel in Guildford and the £28m redevelopment of Coworth Park Estate in Berkshire to create a country house hotel.
Galliford Try will also undertake a £16.8m refurbishment of the Heythrop Park resort in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire for the Firoka Group. And it said it had won an £8m contract to build a student accommodation block for Infrastructure Investments in London.
“These significant contracts build on our long track record in these markets and demonstrate our ability to win valuable projects in the commercial sector as well as for our long standing public sector client base,” said chief executive Greg Fitzgerald.
