Finsbury cheers two decades with client number one
Roland Rudd (pictured, above right), the chairman of financial communications specialist Finsbury, was celebrating 20 years since he founded the firm last night in a glittering reception at Tate Britain.
Joining him and his colleagues were many of those who have benefited from Finsbury’s knowledge of the art of public relations over the years – including Sir Roger Carr (pictured, top left), his first client. Carr is currently the chairman of BAE Systems. Other clients enjoying the celebrations included easyJet’s Carolyn McCall, RSA’s Stephen Hester and Richard Cousins of Compass.
Today, Finsbury counts around a quarter of the FTSE 100 among its clients. Its merger with the US comms firm Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (RLM) in 2011 cemented its status as a global player.
