Farage mulls leading 100,000 strong march on Supreme Court ruling
And you thought that Brexit couldn't get much weirder. It can.
Now Nigel Farage is considering leading an army of 100,000 Brexit-supporters outside the Supreme Court on the day it considers an appeal on the triggering of Article 50.
The march, which is likely to be held on December 5, the planned first day of the hearing, is being organised by the pro-Brexit campaign Leave.EU, and will end with a rally in Parliament Square. The group is also planning to crowd-fund money to pay for barristers to represent Leave supporters in court.
Last week judges ruled that Article 50 could not be triggered without the support of MPs in parliament. The government had said it did not need to do so, and would be appealing the decision.
The ruling was met with outcry from Leave campaigners who said that the will of the people in the June referendum was being forgotten.

A spokesman for the interim Ukip leader, who is in charge while the party looks for a new chief, said no firm plans had been made but the march was "among a series of thoughts" he was considering at the best way to oppose the ruling.
Yesterday Farage warned of protests in the streets if parliament tried to block Brexit.
He told the Andrew Marr Show there would be "political anger the likes of which none of us in our lifetimes have ever witnessed."
Believe you me, if the people in this country think they're going to be cheated, they're going to be betrayed, then we will see political anger the likes of which none of us in our lifetimes have ever witnessed in this country. Those newspaper headlines are reflecting that.
After today's judgement I'm really beginning to question the independence of our judiciary.

Theresa May recently announced MPs will be offered a series of high-level debates on leaving the EU, but stopped short of granting the full Act of Parliament Miller and her team have argued for.
