Doping scandal: Under-fire Seb Coe is set for a grilling from MPs over the IAAF’s handling of allegations
IAAF president Sebastian Coe is set for an uncomfortable afternoon when he is questioned by MPs from the culture, media and sport select committee on the governing body's handling of blood doping allegations.
The under-fire Coe was told to show "more humility" by committee member and MP for Folkestone and Hythe Damian Collins ahead of the meeting at the House of Commons later today.
MPs are conducting the hearing into allegations levelled by the Sunday Times and German broadcaster ARD that hundreds of athletes with suspicious results tested positive.

At the time, Coe responded to the reports by describing them as a "declaration of war" on athletics.
Speaking to The Times, Collins said the response was "totally inappropriate". He said:
There needs to be more humility from the IAAF and he needs to recognise that there have clearly been problems with the way doping issues have been dealt with in the past.
I thought the way IAAF published the Sunday Times investigation was totally inappropriate. Their response has been incredibly aggressive.
Last week the IAAF, published a 38-page document which dismissed the suggestion it had "cynically tolerated" doping.
Yet at previous hearings into the affair the culture, media and sport committee have appeared sceptical about the IAAFs role.
