Danny Alexander gets tough on tax cut plans
CHIEF Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander has decided it is time to get tough over Tory plans to cut the top rate of tax. Speaking to the Mirror he said a cut to 40p would happen “over my dead body,” in a move being hailed as a return to his Lib Dem roots.
