KPMG
The financial services group has hired Iain McLaughlin as its new UK head of recruitment. He joins from GlaxoSmithKline, where he spent six years working in human resources, most recently with a focus on the emerging markets. He has also worked in HR for the banking and IT sectors. McLaughlin’s appointment is part of an expansion of KPMG’s London offices, to which the firm expects to add around 3,000 members of staff over the next three years.
Evolution Securities
The investment bank has appointed Gary Jenkins as its new head of fixed income. Jenkins joined Evo in January 2009, and has since worked to develop the firm’s fixed income product. Evo said he was instrumental in the company being awarded the title of fixed income agency broker of the year by Credit Magazine in 2009 and 2010. Jenkins himself has been ranked number one Extel analyst / team leader on four occasions. He was previously head of fundamental credit strategy at Deutsche Bank, and has also spent time at Barclays Capital as global head of credit research.
Cushman & Wakefield
The property consultant has hired John Mundy as a partner in its City investment team. He has more than 20 years’ experience in investment agency, valuations, capital raising and asset management. Mundy joins from DTZ, where he was most recently the head of capital markets for the Middle East. He also ran the company’s City and West End investment teams.
Navigant Consulting
The management consultancy has appointed Jim Evans to its London financial services practice. Evans has taken up the role of managing director in the recently established regulatory strategy, risk and compliance solutions team. He has previously worked at Ernst & Young, Deloitte and KPMG.
