Jonathan De Mello is to join the property group as head of its retail consultancy team, effective from April.
De Mello is one of the most respected analysts in the retail sector and joins from the Experian Property Consultancy. His consultancy clients have included the likes of Blackstone Private Equity, Henderson Global Investors, UBS and Land Securities.
Hawkpoint
The corporate advisory firm, part of the Collins Stewart group, has appointed Richard Markus and Warren Scott as managing directors and co-heads of its German operations.
The pair, who join at the beginning of June, have over 20 years of experience apiece in the German corporate finance market.
They were previously co-heads for Jefferies in Germany since 2007, and prior to that helped to establish a German arm for KPMG Corporate Finance.
Eden Financial
The brokerage and asset management firm has hired Andrew Crickmore as an investment director in its wealth management division.
Crickmore previously spent four years as a divisional director at Barclays Wealth, formerly Gerrard Investment Management.
Prior to that, he worked at Ashcourt Asset Management, Rathbones Investment Management and Sheppards & Chase.
Execution Noble
The investment banking group has hired Thomas Rinaldi as a senior energy desk analyst to beef up its expertise in the sector.
Rinaldi previously worked at Brencourt Advisors, a $2.5bn multi-strategy fund, as an oil and gas equity analyst and portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was a senior equity research analyst covering offshore drilling contractors at Deutsche Bank Securities.
Mercer
Michael Piker has joined the consultancy group as a partner in the international human capital division in New York.
Pike spent the past five years at Syngenta in Switzerland and Brazil, most recently as head of global reward and head of Latin America human resources. He has also worked for aluminium group Alcoa, technology firm Cisco Systems and HR consultancy Buck Consultants.
PILinvests
The alternative investment group has appointed Amir Zaidi as a director amid a shakeup of its fund formation and structuring team.
Zaidi qualified as an accountant in the M&A practice at Deloitte, where he worked on several high profile transactions for private equity houses.
