Next Fifteen Communications
Next Fifteen Communications Group has appointed Richard Eyre, chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau and the Eden Project, to develop the company’s digital marketing strategies.
Eyre has 35 years’ experience in media and marketing, including the roles of chief executive of ITV Network and chairman of GCap. He currently holds a number of directorships, including Results International Group, Grant Thornton and Atlantic FM.
Matrix Group
The investment bank has strengthened its Asian team by appointing Ian Smith and David Naughtin, both formerly of Nevsky Capital, as analysts. Matrix has more than doubled its Asian assets over 2011 to date to $90m.
T. Rowe Price
The asset manager has appointed Tim Bird as a client relationship manager, focusing on the UK and Ireland. Price, who will be based in London, joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was executive director, head of local authority pension funds, charities and endowments.
Ingenious Asset Management
Michael Hanlon has joined the firm as business development manager as it passes the £1bn milestone for funds under management. Previously, Hanlon worked at Aegon UK in Birmingham, where he focused on investment sales to financial advisers.
VAM Funds
Pavan Varma has been appointed to VAM Funds’ sales team to expand its client relationships with wealth managers and discretionary and institutional investors in the UK and mainland Europe. Varma joins from Fitzwilliam Asset Management, where he was sales director.
Baring Asset Management
The investment manager has appointed Wilfred Sit to the new role of chief investment officer, Baring Asset Management Asia, effective from 30 May. Sit, who will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong office, joins Barings from Mirae Asset Global Investments.
