National law firm Bond Dickinson has appointed Jo Coleman as a partner to its charities team. A charities specialist, with a national profile and more than 17 years’ experience, Jo will be based in the firm’s London office. Recruited from IBB Solicitors, where she headed the charities practice, Jo was previously a partner at specialist charities practice Farrer & Co. Jo’s experience includes providing a full range of legal services for charities, in particular specialising in charity mergers and restructuring and the relationship between charities and corporate promoters. She joins the Bond Dickinson charities team which represents high profile charities, including Addaction, Masonic Samaritan Fund and Mental Health Matters.
Kobre & Kim
Global disputes and investigations firm Kobre & Kim has strengthened its government enforcement & investigations team with the addition of Jason Masimore in London. As a former prosecutor for the US department of justice (DoJ), Jason will focus his practice on advising corporations and individual clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa facing allegations of corruption and bribery; securities fraud and tax and accounting fraud; market manipulation; and violations of US sanctions, among other violations. Jason’s addition brings a total of five former DoJ lawyers to London, including Lara Levinson, Roger Burlingame, Robert Henoch – who splits time between Tel Aviv and London – and the firm’s co-founder, Michael Kim, who also practices part of the time from the London office.
Lee Baron, a leading specialist in property management, investment and professional services, has promoted Howard Rosen to head of the firm’s landlord and tenant department. Global law firm Reed Smith has today announced the appointment of US securities partner Daniel Winterfeldt as a partner in the firm’s financial industry group, based in London. Daniel joins with a legal team (including three senior associates) from CMS Cameron McKenna, where he led the international capital markets group. Daniel is the founder and co-chair of the Forum for US Securities Lawyers in London. His practice focuses on representing US, UK, European and Asian investment banks.
