Ajay Rawal has been appointed partner within the professional services firm’s financial services transaction advisory practice. He joins from Alvarez & Marsal, where he was a partner in its European financial industry advisory services group. Rawal has over 15 years’ experience consulting in financial services.

Bruce Haines has been appointed chairman at the creative agency. He was most recently president of Cheil Worldwide. Haines has also previously worked as head of client services at AMW, global chief executive of Leagas Delaney and Leo Burnett.
Silverfleet Capital
The European private equity firm has announced the promotion of Alfa Chan, David Mackenzie and Joachim Braun to partner. Chan and Mackenzie are both based in London, and have been with Silverfleet Capital for 13 years and 11 years respectively, working across transactions within the healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Braun is based in Munich and has been with the firm for eight years.
Ridgeway Partners
The executive search firm has appointed Sue O’Brien as partner. She was previously chief executive of Norman Broadbent. O’Brien was awarded an OBE in 2014 for services to charity and promoting equality in the worldplace, and will work to develop Ridgeway Partners’ retail, human resource development and board practices.
Leeds Building Society
Chris Long has been appointed head of business intelligence at the building society. He joins from Close Brothers, where he was MI systems manager, with responsibility for business intelligence and data strategy.
Daiwa Capital Markets
The investment banking arm of Daiwa Securities has appointed Gary Hibbard as executive director in its fixed income trading division. He joins from Lloyds Bank, where he was head of sterling credit trading. Hibbard has also previously held senior trading positions at Barclays Capital.
Moneycorp
Lee McDarby has been appointed managing director for UK corporate foreign exchange and international payments at the foreign exchange firm. He joins from Nomura, where he was an executive director. McDarby has also held roles at Investec and RBS.
