Alvarez & Marsal
The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Keith Williamson as head of its global forensic and dispute team in Hong Kong and China. Williamson has over 18 years’ forensic and investigative accounting experience, and specialises in investigations into fraud, corruption and regulatory issues. He joined Alvarez & Marsal in 2011, having previously spent 10 years in Deloitte’s forensic and dispute services team.
Deloitte
Tim Biggs has joined the business advisory firm as UK metals and mining sector leader. Biggs was most recently at Deloitte Australia, where he was managing partner in its Queensland office.
Lombard Odier
The private bank has made two hires to its Asia-Pacific team. Fred Horsey has joined as co-chief operating officer and general counsel. He was formerly head of product development at JP Morgan Asset Management in Asia, and has previously held senior roles at Barclays Global Investors and Janus Capital. Christophe Morel has been appointed chief risk officer. He joined the firm in 2000, and has previously held internal auditing positions at HSBC Republic Bank and UBS.
Rothschild Wealth Management & Trust
Alois Muller has been appointed managing director and head of wealth management for north Asia in the wealth management business’s Hong Kong office. He joins after a 35-year career with UBS, where he held a number of senior roles in Zurich, London, New York, and most recently Hong Kong.
AFC Energy
The energy company has recruited Jane Dumeresque as finance director. Dumeresque began her career at KPMG before spending five years at Citicorp and holding senior roles at Gordon House Securities, JD Capital Management, and Principal Investment Management. She is currently a non-executive director of JapanInvest Group.
WANdisco
The software company has made three executive appointments. Richard Fletcher, a former British Telecom executive, joins as vice president of worldwide engineering. Mike Hallett has been appointed vice president of sales for development tools, and was previously at CollabNet. Brad Mandell joins WANdisco from MapR.
