BLACKROCK PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Tim Trotter as chairman. For the last eight years he has served as chairman of advisory business Glenfern. Prior to that, Trotter founded Ludgate Group, where he was chief executive and chairman.
SEDDONS
The law firm has announced the promotion of Simon Noonoo to partner. He joined its property team last year as an associate, specialising in secured lending, advising entrepreneurial individuals, businesses, high-net worth clients, and lenders on a range of property finance issues.
CLOSE BROTHERS
The financial services group has announced the appointments of Ian McVicar and John Drake to head up a new technology services business, Close Brothers Technology Services. They both join from Lombard Technology Services, where they held the positions of managing director and finance director respectively. McVicar has previously held roles at Dell, Ericsson, Xerox, and GE Capital. Drake trained as a chartered accountant at KPMG, and has also held roles at Humberclyde Finance Group (now BNP Paribas Lease Group).
KINGSTON SMITH
The accountancy firm has announced the appointment of Andrew Bloom as head of legal services. He was previously a partner at a law firm, and has particular experience advising on international investment in the UK, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, organisational restructuring and corporate rescues.
MAG PROPERTY
The property and development arm of Manchester Airport Group has announced the appointment of Adam White as director of commercial and business development. He joins after 10 years at JLL, where he was director in its development team. White will have responsibility for overseeing the separation of MAG Property’s property portfolio and land bank, business development and investors relations.
LANDBAY
Paul Clampin has been appointed chief lending officer at the peer-to-peer lending platform. He joins from Paragon Group, where he was director of mortgage underwriting. Clampin has 29 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, and has also held roles at Mortgage Trust.
