Nomura Asset Management
Andreas Koerner has been appointed head of marketing and client relations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has worked for Nomura Asset Management Germany, where he is chief executive, for almost 12 years.
ANV Underwriters
The specialty insurance group has appointed Christina Lippert as underwriting manager, professional lines, commercial, Europe. She joins from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where she was practice leader for the Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe region.
Cleary Gottlieb
Bernd Langeheine has been appointed senior consultant at the law firm. He was formerly deputy director-general for mergers of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition. Langeheine has held senior positions at the European Commission since the 1990s, including as director for telecommunications policy at its Information Society and Media Directorate-General.
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty
The insurer’s corporate and specialty insurance division has appointed Samson Rathaur as senior marine risk consultant. He is a graduate from the Warsash Maritime academy and a master mariner, and has most recently worked onshore, establishing an operational support centre, refining sailing plans and carrying out risk assessments on new ports of call.
EQ Investors
Hayley Jarvis has been appointed consultant within the wealth manager’s corporate benefits team. She joins from Higgs Boson Consultant, a financial planning firm, and has also held positions at Zurich and Aegon.
Bryan Cave
The law firm has announced the expansion of its payments practice in Europe, with the relocation of New York partner and prepaid and emerging payments team leader Judith Rinearson to its London office. She has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, and is co-chair of the Digital Asset Transfer Authority’s Consumer Protection Working Committee.
