Deloitte
The business advisory firm has appointed Jurga McCluskey as partner and head of its UK immigration practice. She joins from PwC Legal, where she was head of private clients and the lead on a number of key corporate clients. McCluskey has also worked at Fragomen.
BlackRock
Thomas Müller has been appointed managing director and portfolio manager within BlackRock’s European real estate business. He was previously head of European real estate primaries and directs at Partners Group. Müller has also held roles at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Baker & McKenzie.
Invesco Perpetual
The investment management firm has promoted Asad Bhatti to deputy fund manager of the Invesco Perpetual High Yield fund. He joined the firm in 2002 as a fixed interest credit analyst, before progressing to senior analyst. Bhatti has also held roles at Arthur Andersen and Abbey National Treasury Services.
Baker Tilly
The accountancy firm has appointed Charlie Jolly as head of private equity coverage in its team in London. He is a partner with over 14 years’ experience in private equity, and has worked with a broad range of private equity, venture capital and special situations funds in Europe.

The online estate agency backed by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has appointed Sam Cowen as head of acquisition marketing. She was formerly head of marketing at SpareRoom, and has also held roles at eFinancialCareers.
Gerald Eve
James Southey has been appointed partner at the property consultancy. He joins from CBRE, where he was responsible for managing several key corporate accounts. Southey has also held roles at Pentair and Tyco International.
M&G Real Estate
Simon Ellis has been appointed deputy fund manager of the asset management firm’s core European property strategy. He has been promoted from within M&G Real Estate, and has also previously held roles at King Sturge, now JLL, in Paris, and at CBRE in London.
