Landor
Landor, one of the world’s leading global brand consultancies, today announced that Peter Knapp has been named chairman, effective immediately, in addition to continuing his role as chief creative officer. T
his new position reports to Landor chief executive Jane Geraghty. A 25-year veteran of Landor, Knapp has been a long-standing member of its global executive team. In his expanded role as chairman, Knapp will partner with Geraghty to further develop Landor’s key offerings, primarily in the firm’s fast-growing areas of service design, branded tech, and innovation.
He will continue to work with the global management team to drive the creative direction for the company and remain actively involved with clients. Over his career at Landor, Knapp has worked with clients including Adecco, Accenture, Bayer, BP, De Beers, Diageo, EY, Hang Seng Bank, Land Rover, Marks & Spencer, Maybourne Hotel Group, Preem, and UKTV.
Considered one of the leading experts in airline branding, Knapp has worked with flag carriers to low-cost airlines, including British Airways, KLM, S7 Airlines, EasyJet, Gulf Air, Etihad, Alitalia, and Aeroflot.
Duff & Phelps
Duff & Phelps, the global advisor, announced that Mark Whittingham has joined the firm’s London office as a managing director in the Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG).
Mark joins from BNP Paribas RE, where he led the Valuation Advisory team. He brings over 20 years of experience in real estate valuation, both commercial and residential, focused on providing valuation advice for loan security and statutory purposes. Prior to BNP Paribas,
Mark held the position of head of commercial valuation at Strutt & Parker , and European director at JLL. His specialist services include valuation of core central London holdings, industrial and logistics, south east offices, large scale shopping centres, complex portfolio transactions and international valuation services.
The addition of Mark follows the appointment of John Slade as non-executive chairman of the REAG international practice. Mark’s expertise will add depth to the Duff & Phelps REAG practice as it continues to grow its London presence and European offering.
Nodthera
Nodthera, a Cambridge-based biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of next generation NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitors for the treatment of diseases driven by chronic inflammation, announced the appointment of Alison Strutt PhD as head of finance and operations.
Strutt joins from Glaxosmithkline (GSK) where she held a number of senior finance roles. It has also opened a new office in Boston.
