Ogilvy & Mather London
Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) London has promoted Sam Cartmell to the position of deputy executive creative director. In this newly created role, Sam will report to O&M London’s new chief creative officer Mick Mahoney. He will support Mick in the day-to-day running of O&M London’s creative department. Sam will also join the agency’s broader management team to help build and drive a vision for O&M London. He will continue to have responsibility for key clients across the business. Since joining the agency as creative partner in July 2015, Sam has worked across clients including Pizza Hut Delivery, BP and Heineken UK among others.
SP Angel
SP Angel, the privately owned investment banking partnership, has appointed Richard Redmayne director of corporate finance and broking. Richard brings over 50 years of experience in corporate finance leadership positions having worked at James Capel and HSBC before joining Seymour Pierce in 2002, where he ran the corporate broking business. Most recently, Richard became chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald’s European division in July 2013. In his new role, Richard will be responsible for generating new clients and transactions, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
White & Case
Global law firm White & Case has expanded its global banking practice with the addition of real estate finance lawyer Jeffrey Rubinoff as a new partner in London. Jeffrey will support the firm’s strategic focus on profitable growth in London. He advises a wide range of clients including investment banks, private equity funds, real estate investors, hotel companies and sovereign wealth funds on national and cross-border real estate transactions. Jeffrey joins White & Case from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he was partner from 1999 and brings more than 25 years of experience.
Johnson Matthey
Sustainable technologies firm Johnson Matthey has appointed Anna Manz to its board succeeding Den Jones as group finance director. She joins Johnson Mattjey from Diageo where she is currently group strategy director and a member of Diageo’s executive committee. During her 17 years at Diageo, Anna has held a series of senior financial roles, at both group and regional level, including finance director spirits North America, group treasurer and subsequently finance director Asia Pacific. In her current role, Anna leads Diageo’s strategy and business development activities and also leads the Mainstream Spirits business. Prior to joining Diageo, Anna worked in the Quest International business of Unilever / ICI. She is also a non-executive director of ITV.
